regular business hours, here\u2019s what you need to know:<\/p><h3 data-start=\"524\" data-end=\"562\">Emergency Contact (After Hours)<\/h3><p data-start=\"563\" data-end=\"748\">If you&#8217;re a couple or a celebrant and urgently need to speak with a registrar outside of our normal office hours regarding a ceremony, please contact us via one of our social media accounts.<\/p><p data-start=\"750\" data-end=\"945\"><strong data-start=\"753\" data-end=\"822\">You\u2019ll find links to our social media accounts below.<\/strong><br data-start=\"822\" data-end=\"825\" \/>These social media first.<\/p><p data-start=\"750\" data-end=\"945\">If your enquiry is not urgent for example, your ceremony is not taking place before we re-open or for any other registration enquiries please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.argyll-bute.gov.uk\/marriage\/contact-us\/\">contact us<\/a> through our normal channels, and a registrar will respond once the office re-opens.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section Schedules<\/h2><p data-start=\"1014\" data-end=\"1070\">We understand that sometimes things change at the last minute, a witness may be unable to attend or the weather might change your planned ceremony location. Here\u2019s a quick guide of when to contact us:<\/p><h4 data-start=\"1072\" data-end=\"1120\"><strong data-start=\"1079\" data-end=\"1096\">Minor Changes<\/strong> (No Need to Contact Us)<\/h4><p data-start=\"1121\" data-end=\"1233\">If your ceremony is <strong data-start=\"1141\" data-end=\"1179\">not being conducted by a registrar<\/strong> and you need to make a <strong data-start=\"1203\" data-end=\"1222\">small amendment<\/strong> such as:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1234\" data-end=\"1322\"><li data-start=\"1234\" data-end=\"1260\"><p data-start=\"1236\" data-end=\"1260\">A <strong data-start=\"1238\" data-end=\"1254\">witness name<\/strong> change (any witness must be 16 years or over)<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1261\" data-end=\"1322\"><p data-start=\"1263\" data-end=\"1322\">A <strong data-start=\"1265\" data-end=\"1284\">location update<\/strong> within the same area e.g. from inside a hotel to the adjacent beach.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1261\" data-end=\"1322\"><p data-start=\"1263\" data-end=\"1322\">Any <strong>spelling mistakes or typos<\/strong> that were not noticed when the schedule was collected.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1324\" data-end=\"1369\">\u00a0You <strong data-start=\"1331\" data-end=\"1360\">do not need to contact us<\/strong>. Simply:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1370\" data-end=\"1496\"><li data-start=\"1370\" data-end=\"1451\"><p data-start=\"1372\" data-end=\"1451\">Record the change <strong data-start=\"1390\" data-end=\"1422\">on the white signature sheet<\/strong> provided with your schedule. For locations please be as detailed as possible. For witnesses please provide their full name and address.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1452\" data-end=\"1496\"><p data-start=\"1454\" data-end=\"1496\">Return the white sheet with your marriage or civil partnership schedule and the registrar will update the details.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h4 data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1553\"><strong data-start=\"1506\" data-end=\"1529\">Significant Changes<\/strong> (You <em data-start=\"1535\" data-end=\"1541\">Must<\/em> Contact Us)<\/h4><p data-start=\"1554\" data-end=\"1594\">However, if something big changes like:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1595\" data-end=\"1811\"><li data-start=\"1595\" data-end=\"1693\"><p data-start=\"1597\" data-end=\"1693\">A <strong data-start=\"1599\" data-end=\"1618\">change of ceremony location<\/strong>\u00a0that might move your ceremony <strong data-start=\"1644\" data-end=\"1693\">outside of the original registration district.<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1694\" data-end=\"1811\"><p data-start=\"1696\" data-end=\"1811\">Your <strong data-start=\"1701\" data-end=\"1734\">celebrant becomes unavailable<\/strong>, we must check that the\u00a0<strong data-start=\"1744\" data-end=\"1783\">new celebrant is authorised<\/strong> to conduct your ceremony.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1694\" data-end=\"1811\"><p data-start=\"1696\" data-end=\"1811\">A <strong>change to the date of the ceremony<\/strong>, as we must check that the new date <strong>remains within your notice window<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1813\" data-end=\"1926\">Please <strong data-start=\"1823\" data-end=\"1857\">contact us as soon as possible<\/strong> via our <strong data-start=\"1866\" data-end=\"1891\">social media accounts<\/strong> so we can guide you appropriately.
