Please note that we are implementing a new Revenues computer system between 19th January and 8th of February which may result in a delay to your direct debit payment being actioned. Please continue to make payments as normal until you receive confirmation that your DD mandate has been set up
Criteria

To fill in the Direct Debit form online, you must meet the following criteria:

Unable to set up your Direct Debit online

If you are not named on the Council Tax bill, it will not be possible to set up payment of a Council Tax Direct Debit online. Please contact the Customer Services Centre on 01546 605511 for more information, or complete and send in the Direct Debit mandate.

Unable to set up your Direct Debit online

If the bank account you want to pay from is not in your own name, it will not be possible to set up payment of a Council Tax Direct Debit online. Please contact the Customer Services Centre on 01546 605511 for more information, or complete and send in the Direct Debit mandate.

Unable to set up your Direct Debit online

If the bank account you want to pay from is not a personal account, it will not be possible to set up payment of a Council Tax Direct Debit online. Please contact the Customer Services Centre on 01546 605511 for more information, or complete and send in the Direct Debit mandate.

Unable to set up your Direct Debit online

If you do not have the authority to set up this Direct Debit, it will not be possible to set up payment of a Council Tax Direct Debit online. Please contact the Customer Services Centre on 01546 605511 for more information, or complete and send in the Direct Debit mandate.

This guarantee is offered by all Banks and Building Societies that take part in the Direct Debit scheme. The efficiency and security of the scheme is monitored and protected by your own Bank or Building Society.

If the amounts to be paid or the payment dates change, Argyll and Bute Council will notify you 14 days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.

If an error is made by Argyll and Bute Council or your Bank or Building Society, you are guaranteed a full and immediate refund from your branch of the amount paid.

You can cancel your Direct Debit at any time by writing to your Bank or Building Society. Please also send a copy of your letter to us.
