This ceremony is for any married couple who wish to celebrate renewing their marriage vows in a unique and personal way. Often this type of ceremony is associated with a special wedding anniversary, such as twenty-fifth but the ceremony is just as appropriate for couples at any stage of marriage.
The ceremony is purely secular, no religious content is permitted and they have no legal status.
The ceremony can be held within any Argyll and Bute Council Registration Office or at a mutually agreed venue.
The Renewal of Marriage Vows Ceremony can be personalised to your own requirements and may contain readings, rededication of rings, acknowledgement of children etc.

Please contact your local registration office who will advise you of the current fees for a renewal of vows ceremony.
