This ceremony is for any married couple who wish to celebrate renewing their marriage vows in a unique and personal way. Often this type of ceremony is associated with a special wedding anniversary, such as twenty-fifth but the ceremony is just as appropriate for couples at any stage of marriage.
The ceremony is purely secular, no religious content is permitted and they have no legal status.
The ceremony can be held within any Argyll and Bute Council Registration Office or at a mutually agreed venue.
The Renewal of Marriage Vows Ceremony can be personalised to your own requirements and may contain readings, rededication of rings, acknowledgement of children etc.


Ceremony Fee £55.00
If you wish your ceremony to take place at a mutually agreed venue there will be an additional Registrar attendance  and mileage charge, the local Registrar will be happy to advise you accordingly.
After the ceremony you will be issued with a commemorative certificate if desired, for a fee of £10.00.
