Covid-19 Vaccines

All Covid-19 vaccination related activity is being undertaken by NHS Highland

Argyll and Bute Council cannot help with enquiries about availability of vaccinations or appointments

Two thirds of adults have received their first vaccination in NHS Highland (scot.nhs.uk) (updated 16/4/2021)

NHS Highland reminds patients that there is no need for them to contact their GP Practice as they will contact them when it’s their time to get the vaccine. Please avoid contacting your GP practice unnecessarily as this can impact resources needed to help with the rollout.

People who are being shielded and other groups at high risk from Coronavirus will be invited for vaccination after the current 3 priority groups (Care Home Residents, People over 80 and frontline health and social care workers) have been vaccinated.

If you are concerned about transport for your COVID-19 vaccination appointment in Argyll and Bute, please contact your GP practice after they have invited you to your appointment, and they will liaise with you regarding making appropriate arrangements for you to be vaccinated. This could include your local GP practice team or local nursing team visiting your home to vaccinate you there.

Read these questions and answers for further guidance on the vaccination.
