In these unprecedented times, we would like to reassure you that we are working with our NHS partners to take all and any action we can to help local people and businesses.
The council provides a huge range of services that people need every day. To help keep everyone healthy, we are reviewing how we deliver our services and are making changes where needed.
We have cancelled council events. More of our employees are working from home. Non-essential travel from Oban Airport and on our ferry services has been stopped. Wherever possible, we are working with people and businesses by phone rather than face-to-face. You can still contact your councillor, you can find their details here.
In line with national guidance, our schools closed on Friday 20 March.
We will continue to work with our partners and follow national guidance.
We will update you on changes to services as they arise, and will continue to share information that may be of use to you, on our social media and digital channels.
BSL videos are available explaining steps you can take to help avoid infection from coronavirus (COVID-19); what to do if you think you have coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms; self-isolation and shielding advice and helpline information. This information is also available as an audio translation, Easy Read and in other languages.
