Coronavirus and Early Years

All schools in Argyll and Bute Council will close on Friday 26th June 2020 for the summer holidays. The Scottish Government has intimated that if the coronavirus continues to be supressed, schools in Scotland could be fully re-opened in Scotland on August 12th when pupils return.

Some private and third sector providers will be open during the summer holidays if they are involved in the provision of emergency childcare for key workers and vulnerable children.

The Scottish Government has asked that you;
  • stay at home as much as possible
  • only go outside for limited purposes
  • stay 2 metres (6 feet) away from other people
  • wash your hands regularly and as soon as you get home
  • wear a face covering on public transport and enclosed public spaces
  • self-isolate if you have symptoms and book a test

Scotland moved to Phase 2 of the route map for moving out of lockdown on 19th June 2020.
