Coronation weekend 6th to 8th May 2023 – Extended Hours Licences 

The Licensing Board has set the period during which extended hours will be considered.  Please be aware that Extended Hours applications must be with the Board at least 35 days prior to the date on which the extended hour’s event is being held. This timescale is to allow for statutory reports the Board must consider in determining each application.

The 35 day deadline for The Coronation Celebrations is; 1st April 2023

There will be a general presumption in favour of extending licensing hours during the above period along the following lines:  Extension to a limit of 0300 hours for all on-trade premises

Notes:

Prevailing local late night conditions will still apply, such as the night-time curfew, curtailment of music at a certain times, first aider presence and stewarding.

Children:

Where a current Operating Plan permits children and young persons to remain on the premises for the duration of an event, Children and young persons, accompanied by an adult 18 years or over may remain until 0100 hours?
