Scottish Government Restricting Alcohol Advertising and Promotion: Consultation
The Consultation sets out a range of different options for restricting the advertising and marketing of alcohol products across Scotland. Should you wish to contribute to this Consultation the Scottish Government is inviting responses by 9th March 2023.
Scotland’s Deposit Return Scheme
The Deposit Return Scheme is set to go live on 16th August 2023 and will affect among others Hospitality premises (those premises that sell drinks for consumption on the premises) and retailers (those who sell drinks for take away only). A set of FAQs is available for those businesses affected.

Council confirms funding support for strategic events and festivals: Funding to support a wide range of popular cultural events and festivals in Argyll and Bute has been approved by the Council’s Policy and Resources Committee.
You can sign up to receive free regional Flood Warnings or local Flood Alerts from the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA).
