The Leader of Argyll and Bute Council will answer questions on council budget and services in an on-line conversation at 7pm on Thursday 16 January.
Members of the public are welcome to submit questions in advance or join the conversation on the night. The web chat is part of the council’s on-going communication and consultation exercise.
Councillor Dick Walsh, Leader of Argyll and Bute Council said:
“The next two years will be relatively stable in terms of our financial planning. However we anticipate significantly reduce funding from 2016 onwards. I am keen to hear any views, questions or concerns that people have about our budget and services, in the short and longer term.”
The consultation exercise is based on response methods that have proven most useful to local people in the past, so includes an on-line survey.
