Consultation background
Argyll and Bute Council has been successfully awarded £315,000 from the Spaces for People Programme to make it safer and easier for people to walk, cycle and wheel in their town centres.
This funding will support the installation of temporary measures to help everyone safely socially distance and support businesses as they reopen on our high streets.
We asked for your views on our proposals for seven town centres. We also asked for your views on other areas in Argyll and Bute you think we should consider.
This survey was open from Thursday 16 July to Sunday 26 July 2020.
If you have any questions or would like more information on the consultation, please get in touch with Colin Young at Colin.Young@argyll-bute.gov.uk
Please note that as the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve quickly, we will monitor all proposals implemented and change or remove them if the measure is no longer required.
The funding is from the Spaces for People programme is administered by SUSTRANS on behalf of Scottish Government.
