Proposed Amendments to the Council’s Scheme for the Establishment of Community Councils
Notice is hereby given, that Argyll and Bute Council, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by Section 53 (1) of the above mentioned Act, proposes to amend the Scheme for the Establishment of Community Councils.
A meeting of the Policy and Resources Committee held on 17 August 2017, agreed to a public consultation exercise on proposed amendments to the Scheme.
The first phase of the consultation process will be held over an 8 week period (from 24 August to 19 October 2017) and shall address the proposed amended Scheme together with associated documentation. A final period of consultation will be held prior to adoption of any amendments.
