Consultation background

The Scottish Government have committed to increase the number of funded hours of Early Learning and Childcare, from 600 hours to 1140 hours per year, for all children aged 3 and 4 years old and eligible 2 year olds.

Argyll and Bute Early Years is committed to provide high quality early learning and childcare which, ensures every child in your area is able to access their funded entitlement in a high quality setting which meets their needs.

Following the recent phasing of 1140 funded Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) in the Helensburgh and Lomond area, Early Years seeked the views of parents / carers / guardians on the accessibility and suitability of the provision on offer.
