Getting good food to good causes

FareShare is a charity that works to ‘fight hunger and food waste’ by distributing food that would otherwise go to waste.

It works in towns and cities across the UK..

Argyll and Bute Council, with the Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP), is gathering information, via this survey, to help FareShare support people in Argyll and Bute.

This survey is about getting good food to people who need it across Argyll and Bute.  We would appreciate hearing from any food bank or organisation in Argyll and Bute interested in playing a part in storing and distributing food to people in need.

The survey is open until Thursday 15 August 2019 and can be found here:

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete and your feedback is vital.

How will this survey help?

FareShare already works in some parts of Argyll and Bute where charities use it to access surplus retail food.

FareShare has recently received funding from the Scottish Government to increase its distribution networks.

The council and HSCP will pass findings from this survey to FareShare so that FareShare can look at opportunities it can take to get food to more people in Argyll and Bute.

This survey is for organisations; please do not enter any personal information that you do not want to be shared.
