Computing For Beginners

For people who have a little knowledge of computers or who have completed level 1 learn about Applications, MS Word, Internet, Internet Security and Search Engines.
Computing level 3
Progression on from level 2 learning more about applications Word, Excel, Power-point and others.
Upcycling/Sewing Class
Confidence Building using practical skills to improve communication and social skills.
Confidence Building
Confidence Building - thinking of starting or returning to a learning environment but unsure about where to start why not try classes that will allow you to meet others you do not need to have any previous experiences.
ESOL
English for speakers of other languages. Beginners and Intermediate, other levels can be catered for.

Adult Literacy
Support sessions for people being introduced and require to use ICT, Universal Jobs match and job searching online
Basic ICT skills for complete beginners, sessions on Universal Job Match system, how to use the internet for online job searching.
One to One Tuition
Working one to one with a tutor we can offer support in reading, writing, working with numbers, confidence building, and computer skills.
Drop In Literacy Group
Work on budgeting, reading, writing, spelling or computer skills in a relaxed, friendly group setting. Tutors are available for support within the group.
Support into Employment
To help people search and apply for jobs including CV building, form filling and interview skills.
SQA Core Skills Accredited Courses
We can offer support to gain SQA Core Skills in Reading, Writing, Using Numbers, Problem Solving, Working with Others and ICT.
