The atmosphere is captured using minimal, expressive brushwork.<\/p><h2>About the artist<\/h2><p>Duncan Macleod RSW (born Glasgow, 1952) studied at Glasgow School of Art. He is known for his landscape and coastal views. His forebears came from the island of Lewis and from that comes his love of the land. Duncan seems to have acquired a Celtic feel for land, sea and sky and these elements form a never ending source of inspiration. He loves looking at the sky and the way it changes.
