In the foreground there is a decorative rectangular shaped cliff.\n\n<h2>About the artist<\/h2>\n\n\nJohn B Fleming RSW (born Dumbarton, 1912-1986) studied and taught at Glasgow School of Art. He was a painter and illustrator, creating marine paintings, landscapes, and continental scenes. During WW2 he served at sea, which provided him with experience and knowledge on which his later marine paintings were based.
