Muted colour palette with wild flowers and grasses in the foreground, fields and hills behind and the loch to the right of the painting.<\/p><\/div><\/section><section class=\"block block-layout-builder block-field-blocknodeartworkfield-artist-info clearfix\"><h2 class=\"block-title\">About the artist<\/h2><div class=\"field field--name-field-artist-info field--type-text-long field--label-hidden field--item\"><p>Perpetua Pope (born Solihull, 1916-2013) studied at Edinburgh College of Art, and later taught and lectured in art at a number of institutions including Moray House, Edinburgh. She worked in oil and watercolour, and was inspired by landscape and the natural world.
