He uses a combination of both textural and decorative marks alongside broad areas of colour in his work to create striking images.<\/p><\/div><\/section><section><h2>About the artist<\/h2><div><p>John Reginald Brunsdon (born Cheltenham, 1933-2014) studied at Cheltenham College of Art and the Royal College of Art. He was a founder member of the Printmakers Council. He is known for his meticulous skill and understanding of the etching process. In his etchings he uses both textural and decorative marks alongside broad areas of colour often giving his work a timeless quality.
