About the artwork

Dream like image with a shoeless girl in dungarees and a yellow top, floating with her arms in the air. Around the girl is a white patterned jug with flowers on a table, an owl, fruit under a glass bell jar and a white horse eating grass, alongside the name Paola , and another white vase containing flowers. The different elements in the painting are not painted to the same scale, adding to the dream like quality of the image. Paola is the name of the artist s daughter.
