About the artist
Philip Reeves RSA PPRSW RGI RE (born Cheltenham, 1931) studied and taught at Cheltenham School of Art and the Royal College of Art. He taught at Glasgow School of Art and Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen. He was instrumental in settting up the Scottish Printmaking Workshops and Studio. Reeves is a prominent contemporary printmaker and painter. His main inspiration is the land.
