About the artist
Julian Trevelyan RA (Born Dorking, 1910 1988) studied at Atelier Dix-Sept, Paris. Taught at Chelsea School of Art and The Royal College of Art. Founder member of the Printmakers Council in London. Known for his work as an engraver. He became a confirmed Surrealist and participated in a number of Surrealist exhibitions in London.
