About the artist
Louise Annand MBE (born Uddingston, 1915- 2012) was encouraged to paint by the Scottish Colourist JD Fergusson. She was an artist, film maker and educator, and worked for the schools museums service at Kelvingrove, where she introduced film as a teaching medium, producing films on JD Fergusson, Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Jessie M King.
