Families who live in villages in rural Argyll and Bute do not always find it easy to access the whole variety of extracurricular activities on offer in the population centres.
This survey was commissioned by the Mid Argyll, Kintyre and the Islands Community Planning Group, following a Place Standards survey which showed that one of the villages on the A816 had a surprising number of responses to say that young people were disadvantaged in accessing extracurricular activities. The Community Planning group therefore agreed to: “Investigate if Community Transport provides for children/families”
The survey is being undertaken with the villages along the A816, served by the Community councils of:
And includes the villages of Kilmartin, Kilmichael Glassary, Ardfern, Craobh Haven and Kilmelford.
Please do not complete this survey if you don't live in this area.
The results of this survey will be collated to look for evidence of the best solution, in partnership with the local community organisations.
All responses to this survey will be used to provide analysis of local need and respondents will not be identified. All personal data will be handled with confidentiality and sensitivity and will be destroyed once the research has been completed.
This survey should be answered by the Household. One person should take the responsibility for everyone else who lives in their home. That person can be of any age, but if under 12, you might like to ask an adult to check your answers.
