Argyll and Bute Council operates Oban Airport, Coll, Colonsay and Glenforsa Aerodromes. Oban Airport is situated just to the north of the village of North Connel and some six miles from the centre of Oban. Work began in April 2006 to re-developed Oban Airport in preparation for Public Service Obligation (PSO) routes to the Islands of Coll and Colonsay.
The Airport is suitable for recreational / private / and commercial use. In addition to Oban, Coll and Colonsay, Argyll and Bute Council also operates the Aerodrome at Glenforsa, Isle of Mull.

Glenforsa Aerodrome
Landing at Glenforsa Aerodrome is STRICTLY by prior arrangement. There are NO fuel or hangar facilities available - 100LL and Jet A1 available at Oban Airport.

Landing Fees are payable at Glenforsa Aerodrome or will be invoiced by Argyll and Bute Council.
Note: Only Argyll and Bute Council Staff can authorise use of the Aerodrome. Aircraft are to remain within the runway confines when taxing to/from the parking area
