Integrated Children's Service Plan 2009 - 2012
This plan sets out a vision for children and young people in Argyll and Bute that is shared by all the major organisations providing services for children, young people and their families.
The plan sets out our own and local partner agencies' joint priorities for the next three years in line with the National Objectives outlined in the Scottish Government Concordat. The scope of the document reflects the continued development of joint working across all services making provision for the children and young people of Argyll and Bute. It incorporates both universal and targeted services.
This document aims to set out a broad framework of national and strategic objectives for the development and improvement of a range of services. These objectives have been set out in our previous interim Integrated Children's Service Plan (ICSP) 2008-2009. This ICSP is the vehicle through which integrated plans and strategies for children and young people will be implemented. This will also be the route for evaluation of the outcomes achieved. This plan has been kept relatively short by concentrating on the strategic approach rather than the operational detail of all the services that are provided in Argyll and Bute.
