Roads

Cross Street in Campbeltown has been closed to all traffic because of a dangerous building at the corner of Main Street and Cross Street.

The road has been closed to ensure people’s safety and we are monitoring the situation carefully. The closure will be in place until the building is made safe and it's future is determined.

Pedestrian access between Main Street and Burnside Square is unaffected by the problem.

Schools

There are no reported disruptions to schools.

The East Argyll mobile library will not be in service from Monday 27th to Friday 31st May inclusive. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Bin collection

Disruption to Mid Argyll recycling collection - Wed 22nd May - Last updated: 22 May 2013 - 11:08

Due to a mechanical breakdown on our refuse vehicle, we are unable to collect any recycled paper/card from today’s schedule, Mid Argyll Recycle Route 3 Wednesday 22nd May. It is hoped that the problem will be fixed by late this afternoon, therefore it is our intention to collect today's missed route, tomorrow (Thursday 23rd May).
