There were no apologies for absence.

There were no declarations of interest intimated.

The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting and advised that no person present would be entitled to speak other than the Members of the Local Review Body (LRB) and Mr Reppke who would provide procedural advice if required.

The Chair advised that his first task would be to establish if the Members of the LRB felt that they had sufficient information before them to come to a decision on the Review.

Councillor McCuish advised that although the report provided by Planning was very comprehensive he felt that he would benefit from seeing the site and getting a feel for it.

Councillor Freeman agreed and advised that he had some questions around the car parking proposal.  He added that he would also like to receive confirmation that the representation given by David Craig and congregation did in fact reflect the reviews of the congregation.  Mr Reppke advised that these were questions that could be asked at the site visit unless he wished to request the information as written submissions.  Councillor Freeman confirmed he would be happy to ask these questions at the site visit if the appropriate people were in attendance.

Councillor Kinniburgh stated that he too would benefit from getting a general feel for the site and surrounding area and that he was happy to request a site visit.

Decision

The Local Review Body agreed to hold an accompanied site visit to view the application site and context of the site in relation to the surrounding area; and to invite the applicant, the Planning Authority and Statutory Consultees and Representees that had made further representations to attend.

Report by Executive Director of Customer Services in the Absence of a Quorum for the Reconvened Meeting of Argyll and Bute Local Review Body held on 17 April 2014 at 12.00 noon in the Victory Hall, Benderloch.

Advance notification had been given by the Executive Director of Customer Services that the meeting would be inquorate due to the withdrawal of the request for review by the applicant on 16 April 2014.  There was therefore no attendance by Members and no business was transacted.
