There were no apologies for absence.

There were no declarations of interest.

The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting and noted that there were no interested parties present.

The Chair advised that his first task would be to establish whether the Panel felt they had sufficient information to come to a decision on the review.

Both Councillor McNaughton and Councillor Blair intimated that they had sufficient information to come to a decision on the review.

The Chair advised that having reviewed the application for solar panels on a B listed property he felt that the proposal was unsympathetic to the building; that the modern material of the solar panels was inconsistent with the materials of the building and therefore he was content with the advice provided by Planning to refuse the application.

Councillor Blair advised that he did not think the application was appropriate for a B listed property.

Councillor McNaughton expressed that he thought the reasons for refusal were quite clear and that he agreed with them.

The Chair advised that he was not in support of the application; Councillor Blair and Councillor McNaughton agreed.

Decision

To refuse the application and to uphold the reasons for refusal detailed in the report of handling by the Head of Planning and Regulatory Services dated 12 April 2012.
