The Area Governance Manager explained that a report on Hermitage Park originally scheduled to come to the Area Committee following the September Business Day, would now be heard at the December Area Committee meeting for the reason that Heritage Lottery had changed their timeline dates and accordingly there was nothing to update at the present time. |

School Holidays and In Service Days: 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 PDF 77 KB Minutes: Members were asked to consider a report by the Head of Education, which outlined the final patterns of in-service days and school holidays for all schools in Helensburgh and Lomond in the period 2013/14 and 2014/15. Decision a) Agreed to endorse the final pattern of school holidays and in-service days for 2013/14 and2014/15 as outlined in Appendices 1 and 2. b) Agreed that the details of school holidays and in-service days for 2013/14 and2014/15 should now be circulated to schools and all relevant organisations. c) Agreed to request the Area Governance Manager to seek information from the Head of Education to ascertain whether the feasibility of liasing with neighbouring local authorities regarding the timing of school holidays had been previously explored. requesting permission to utilise the Pier and car park to host events.
Decision The Area Committee agreed:- a) That the Helensburgh & District Round Table host the Bonfire and Fireworks Display in Helensburgh Pier Car Park on Saturday 3rd November 2012. b) That the organisers for the Helensburgh Winter Festival host a fireworks display on the Pier on Sunday 2nd December c) That the Council forego the charge for the area being used for both events. Helensburgh - Dumbarton Cycleway PH1 - Works programme 2012-13 Minutes: Members were asked to consider the contents of a report by the Roads Performance Manager detailing the progress to date towards the delivery of Phase 1 of the Helensburgh – Dumbarton Cycleway Project.
