CIVIC GOVERNMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 1982: APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF TAXI DRIVER LICENCE (W TUCKER, DUNOON) Report by Head of Governance and Law Minutes: The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting and introductions were made. He then outlined the procedure that would be followed and invited the Applicant to speak in support of his application. Applicant Mr Tucker presented his case in support of the renewal of his Taxi Driver Licence. Members’ Questions The Members received responses to a number of questions raised. After summing up Mr Tucker confirmed that he had received a fair hearing. Decision The Committee unanimously agreed to grant the renewal of Mr Tucker’s Taxi Driver Licence but noted that if his driver’s licence is not renewed in September 2016 his Taxi Driver Licence will also fall.
