Apologies for absence were intimated from Councillors Mary-Jean Devon, Roderick McCuish and Sandy Taylor.

There were no declarations of interest.

The Head of Governance and Law advised that the Licence Holder was not present and therefore there was no opportunity for the hearing process to be followed.  He advised that it was now for the Committee to decide on what course of action to take.

Decision

The Committee agreed to suspend Mr McDowell’s Taxi Operator Licence with immediate effect as a condition of the Licence was being contravened and that the period of suspension be the unexpired portion of the duration of the Licence .
