Members were briefed by Charlie Cairns, Area Manager - Lower Clyde Greenspace, on a report by the Streetscene Manager, regarding a new management plan for the Duchess Wood Local Nature Reserve (DWLNR). This management plan will form the framework for enhancements within the woodland over the next 5 years, and recognises the existing maintenance provision that is in place.      

             

Decision

 

  1. Agreed to note and approve the management plan appended to the submitted report.

 

  1. Agreed to record the tribute of the Helensburgh and Lomond Area Committee and DWLNR in recognition of the work carried out on their behalf by the late Councillor Reay.
