Pamela Galbraith spoke to her report which was tabled at the
meeting, updating
the group on the recent developments in regards the BIDS. The group have adopted
a waiting brief to see how other BIDS areas work out before re-initialising this
process.

The Chair thanked Pamela for the hard work, time
and commitment that she had invested in the co-ordination of the BIDS work.
Action:
The group agreed that a paper would come to the KIWG late Summer/early Autumn
updating on the status of BIDS in Campbeltown.

Ian Davison Porter gave a detailed presentation on the background and basic principles of the Business Improvement Districts Scotland.
He provided details of two websites to enable attendees to gain further information:-
