Supporting adults should be someone who your child will see regularly, be someone they will be able to turn to when they need help and be someone you trust.

Talk to those you have chosen and see what promises they feel able to promise.  A selection of promises are below but if can create their own if they wish.

Sample 1

Registrar: Will you promise to support (name of child) in all that he/she does, to inspire their imagination and to help them to fulfill their dreams.

SA: We will.

Registrar: Will you promise to be an ear to listen, a voice to advise and a pair of arms that will always have a hug waiting when it’s needed and sometimes when it’s not

Registrar: Will you promise to help bring out (name of child) creative side
