Councillors have agreed to continue to engage with the Scottish Government for further investment in Argyll and Bute communities facing depopulation, particularly affordable housing, digital and transport connectivity and more employment opportunities.

Argyll and Bute Council is investing in two island housing projects as part of its ongoing commitment to tackle the area’s housing emergency.

Argyll and Bute Council has identified 10 potential projects that could be in the running to benefit from a share of up to £20 million of capital funding from the UK Government’s Levelling Up Fund.
