Queens’ Jubilee Holiday

The Council’s Executive agreed to award employees in non-teaching establishments a one-off additional day’s leave on 5th June; employees are required to take one of their floating leave days on Monday, 4th June – thereby creating a 4 day weekend.  Employees who for operational reasons are required to work on 5th June,  will receive time off in lieu at an appropriate later date – no enhancements will be paid.

The Scottish Government has already given consent for schools to close on 5th June.
