This non-statutory ceremony is a very special way of celebrating and welcoming your child or children into the family and community. It enables you, to announce their name(s), to make your personal commitment to them and if you choose allows family and friends to participate in this special occasion.
Anyone with parental responsibility can arrange a Naming Ceremony for babies or children of any age. The childs birth certificate will need to be produced before the ceremony can take place.
The ceremony can be held within any Argyll and Bute Council Registration Office or at any approved venue.

Fees

Ceremony Fee - £55.00
If you wish your ceremony to take place at an Approved Venue there will be an additional Registrar attendance and mileage charge, the local Registrar  will be happy to advise you accordingly.

After the ceremony you will be issued with a commemorative certificate if desired, for a fee of £10.00
