Toward Primary School serves a rural area and is situated on the shores of the Clyde at the south end of the Cowal peninsula, looking out over the Clyde towards Rothesay.
The building which dates back to 1875, was extended in 1977 and again in 1979.
Here at Toward Primary, we aim to create a secure environment where each child can achieve their potential in all areas of learning according to his or her capabilities.
HM Inspectorate of Education (HMIE) inspects and reports on the quality of education in pre-school centres, primary schools, secondary schools, special schools, community learning and development services, colleges, and residential educational provision.
You can read and download any inspection reports for this school, and find out more about the inspection process, on the HM Inspectorate of Education website.
Follow Through Inspections are carried out at schools where areas for improvement have been identified in the original inspection, and if any follow through reports have been produced for this school, they will be available for you to read and download below.
