Taynuilt Primary School sits at the foot of Ben Cruachan in a beautiful rural setting close to Loch Etive and within the village of Taynuilt.
The school was opened in 1989 and is of semi-open plan design, 'one double and two single class bays opening onto a shared open area. There is a large gymnasium, which also acts as an assembly hall, lunch hall and houses the preschool unit each afternoon.

In 2008, a beautiful, purpose built nursery adjacent to the school building was opened.
Taynuilt Primary School is noted for its warm, enthusiastic and supportive ethos. All members of the school community strive to provide the best learning and teaching environment possible, to ensure that each member of that community benefits from his/her time there.
