ePlanning is a national programme of work, initiated in Scotland in October 2006, and originally comprised 5 main areas of development, or workstreams;


  1. Online Applications and Appeals (OAA)
  2. Online Planning Information System (OPIS)
  3. Online Local Plans (OLP)
  4. Expert System (ES)
  5. eConsultation (EC)

Argyll & Bute Council signed up for all workstreams except OPIS, as this service has been available via the Council's website since September 2006.
