The Environmental Health Section deal with issues that affect the quality of everyday life. They aim to promote or enforce standards that preserve Public Health, Public Safety and Protect the Environment.

The work of Environmental Health Staff is extremely varied and can be broadly categorised as follows: Food Safety, Health and Safety, Licensing, Pollution, and Public Health and Housing.
