Sarah has been working for Argyll and Bute Council since October 2005 in the Marine and Coastal Development Unit. She has been involved in several projects including the implementation of management actions from the Argyll Marine SAC management plans, development of the ICZM plan for Loch Fyne, marine wildlife signage at the Craignure Ferry Terminal and an accompanying leaflet, and the development of the Sea and Learn marine and coastal teacher pack for primary schools. Sarah also has specialist GIS mapping skills gained during her Ph.D in marine habitat mapping. She also has a BSc in Marine and Environmental Biology and MSc in Marine Resource Development and Protection. Sarah is employed on the SSMEI Sound of Mull project full-time.

Gordon Turnbull

Gordon lives on Mull and has worked in both fishing and shellfish farming on the island. He is still involved with shellfish and set up a crab processing business in 2007. He has a MSc. in Marine Resource management and has previously worked as a fishery development officer in Wales. Gordon works on the SSMEI Sound of Mull project part-time.
