A meeting was held today at which the Board of Oban Bay Marine presented their revised proposals for a short stay marina in the town to members of the Oban CHORD Project Board.

The meeting included a recap by independent consultant AECOM, who have been assessing the project, on the challenges and issues identified in the Full Business Case in December 2009, a presentation by Oban May Marine on the revised proposal and how it addresses the key challenges and issues.

A decision on the proposal will be made at a future meeting of the Oban CHORD Project Board, before being passed to the CHORD Programme Management Board for final approval.
