Football reps to meet with SFA

Football representatives from clubs throughout Argyll and Bute will meet with the Scottish Football Association (SFA) to discuss the way forward for football in the area.

Coaches, managers and volunteers from Rothesay, Lochgilphead and Tarbert clubs will meet with SFA Regional Manager Paul McNeill to discuss the SFA Youth Action Plan and Quality Mark Programs set by the SFA.

Argyll and Bute Council's Football Development Officer, said: "I would urge anyone involved in football in these areas to come along to the meeting and find out how these programmes might benefit you and your club.

"With football on the increase in Argyll and Bute, it is essential that local clubs make the most of any opportunities which arise."

The meeting will be held on Thursday 1st May at 6pm in Lochgilphead Joint Campus.
