The state of the art pool boasts a floating floor; changing village; visitor gallery and display area, whilst the fitness suite offers a comprehensive range of cardiovascular equipment including lifecycles and cross trainers - each with their own integrated entertainment screen. The gym also provides a progressive line of strength machines, from the Signature Series, Cable Motion Series and Hammer Strength free weights along with barbells, Swiss balls and Bosu balls.
To end a strenuous session in the gym or in the pool, there is also a sauna and steam room in our remedial suite along with comfortable loungers so visitors can relax and unwind.
In addition to the sports and fitness facilities, Aqualibrium is also home to Campeltown library which provides free public internet access through nine computers, with two extras for use by visiting schools. The IT area is to one side of the main room, leaving the large central and window areas free for books, displays and a mixture of relaxed and study seating. A dedicated “Reference Point” computer is available as a gateway to over one hundred up-to-date sources of information. For those who are looking for a break from technology, there is a separate, quiet, Local Studies room which contains books about the area and study tables and chairs.
The Mussel Ebb Bistro provides all the catering for the venue and visitors can sit in the bright and airy cafe to relax with a coffee or enjoy some hearty home cooking. The caterers can also provide refreshments for events and bookings.
