Oban Community Sports Field
Booking forms are now available from the link below or from Community Learning, Mac Calls Terrace, Oban – 01631 562265. Due to the expected level of demand for peak times, please provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice days and times. Block bookings will be accepted from 3rd July to 31st December 2006, when all bookings will be require to be renewed. The closing date for booking applications will be Monday 19th June 2006 and confirmation of allocated times will be notified within 14 days.
The field is available for community use between:-

* Mornings will be used for children’s sport activities arranged through Schools, Active Schools or Stramash.
The playing surface will not be occupied after 2200 hours.
Charges and Letting Policy
Initial prices have been set with an intention to review within 6 months of commencement and may be adjusted if income targets are not being achieved. Prices have been fixed following examination of pricing structures for similar facilities throughout the country.
Prices include use of changing facilities and are;
Hire of Full Pitch (per hour)
Adult Teams £40.00 ph
Juvenile (under 16 and up to 18 if in fulltime education) £20.00 ph
- every participant in a group must be eligible for this concessionary rate
Hire of 1/2 of pitch (per hour)
Adult £25.00 ph
Juvenile (under 16 and up to 18 if in fulltime education) £12.50 ph
- every participant in a group must be eligible for this concessionary rate
The Management Committee reserve the right to determine the pattern of use of the facilities, particularly between whole pitch v half pitch. The minimum let duration will be 1 hour.
Let charges for part of an hour will be charged at the full hourly rate. The maximum let duration will be at the discretion of the Management Committee, but for guidance will depend on the development value of the activity.
