Argyll and Bute Council is the largest employer within this area and we would like to build on and maximise this by promoting the career opportunities that we have available. The Council carries out many functions. Some of which involve specialist skills. Many people are unaware of the range of services that we provide and the employment and development opportunities we can offer.
To try to overcome the recruitment and retention issues that we face, over the last 8 months a team of volunteers within the Council have worked hard to bring together this roadshow for our 10 Secondary Schools before rolling it out further within our communities. The aim is to promote the potential career opportunities that are available on your doorstep.
This is an exciting time for us and we would like you to take the time to consider the benefits to you and your local community of you staying and developing a rewarding career with the Council.
It is important to let the people of Argyll and Bute, those who will be our employees and our partners in the community, know what kind of Council we aim to be.
Our overall aim is to play a full part in improving the quality of life and opportunities for the people of Argyll and Bute.
Working with others our goals are to help make Argyll and Bute -
You can help us to achieve our future goals.
