Innellan Primary School serves the residential village of Innellan on the Clyde coast. The modern, recently refurbished building has an open plan teaching area, gymnasium/dining room and an extensive playing area including a football pitch.
Innellan Primary School is non-denominational and co-educational. The fostering of home and school links is regarded as an important contribution to school life. The School Board have an active role in the running of the school and the PTA have a busy program of social and fundraising events.
The school aims to meet the needs of individual pupils in order to realise their full potential and to provide an educational programme that is as broadly based as possible to achieve this end.
HM Inspectorate of Education (HMIE) inspects and reports on the quality of education in pre-school centres, primary schools, secondary schools, special schools, community learning and development services, colleges, and residential educational provision.
You can read and download any inspection reports for this school, and find out more about the inspection process, on the HM Inspectorate of Education website.
Follow Through Inspections are carried out at schools where areas for improvement have been identified in the original inspection, and if any follow through reports have been produced for this school, they will be available for you to read and download below.
