About our School : Dervaig Primary School is situated in the north of the Island of Mull and serves the village of Dervaig and surrounding areas. It is a non-denominational and co-educational school. Current staffing provides opportunities for team teaching across the stages. The school is well supported by the local area network support team. Dervaig School is part of the Mull and Iona Schools Co-operative and has close links with all the other six schools but with Ulva Primary School in particular. Both schools come together weekly in Dervaig to share resources and expertise in the expressive arts for all pupils and French for Primary 4 to 7 pupils. The school building comprises one main teaching classroom, one resource room/teaching area/staffroom, office, toilets and a small kitchen. Meals are not cooked on the premises but are transported from Salen Primary. The school has an active and supportive School Board and has very close links with the surrounding community.
