Museum of Islay Life - Wee Museum

This delightful museum is situated in Port Charlotte and illustrates life on the island from 8000BC to the 1950s. Among the many displays is one illustrating the whisky industry for which the island is famed, with an illicit still found in the hills.

A children’s corner caters for young interest and a library holds over 1000 books and several thousand photographs.
